It was acquired from a private collector in Japan and is said to be an old-stock stone that circulated on the market many years ago.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWith a hardness of approximately \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eLv. 4.0+\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, the stone has a dense and refined structure, yet quickly produces a \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003efine, jet-black slurry with highly uniform abrasive particles\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e. It is capable of creating a precise and exceptionally keen final edge without excessively rounding the apex, making it particularly suitable for \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003estraight razors, woodworking tools, and the final finishing of kitchen knives\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDuring test sharpening, despite its high density, the stone readily produced a fine black slurry and provided excellent contact and feedback at the edge.
