Manaka Hamono Forging Workshop (Manaka Hamono) is a blacksmith shop located in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. It was founded in 1872 (Meiji 5).

The fifth-generation craftsman, Kisuke, has inherited traditional techniques and produces and sells kitchen knives, scissors, custom knives, and hatchets.

In particular, he uses high-quality steels such as Aogami (Blue Paper Steel), Shirogami (White Paper Steel), etc and forges blades using techniques like "Hon-Warikomi" (true forge-welded construction) and "Sanmaiuchi" (three-layer forge welding).

All processes are meticulously handled by Kisuke himself, ensuring the production of high-quality, handcrafted blades.

The "ENN" series features a laminated structure, with a core made of Aogami No.1 steel, which is enhanced with chromium and tungsten for improved wear resistance. The outer layers are composed of Aogami No.2 steel and soft iron.

This combination results in exceptional sharpness and durability.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
