Description

Natsuya-to from Iwate Pref, where north coast of Japan. Approx. grit is #800+, for the middle process of knives, tools. Wide range and easy to use. As well as other mines, Natsuya-to is not mined any more. Water absorption is quick, Rich & impressive slurry comes out easily, Particularly good for carbon steel knives.This Natsuyato was not purchased from our usual supplier, but from the relatives of a hardware store that had gone out of business. It appears to have been quite old stock, as the wholesaler’s original label has remained in good condition. Its sharpening face was not flattened 100%, if you want us to flatten, please let us know when the check out. Please note that these are not for beginner sharpeners since they're harder to use. These are natural stones meaning that every single one of them is different so my measured sizes are not accurate. This is a lifetime investment for people who live sharpening their razors and tools, do not hesitate to ask me your questions
