Please check the photos.  This is Takashima ( Takashima Myokakusan ) Chunk Kiita #10000 Very Rare, mined from Tomae layer. Good for knives, tools, razors in the finishing process. Very clean from the top to the bottom, Regain the toothy edge of the blade and it lasts longer. Takashima stones are generally in the grit size range of about #4000-6000, but this is a very rare #10000 that our supplier who is the ex-miner of Takashima rated. It is high-density, comparatively hard and produces a blackish slurry. It has a different sharpening feel to Nakayama, which is rather similar to Okudo Tomae .Apart from the sharpening face, sealed lightly. Please note that these are not for beginner sharpeners since they're harder to use.These are natural stones meaning that every single one of them are different so my measured size are not accurate. This is a life time investment for people who lives sharpening their  tools, do not hesitate to ask me your questions.”
